There are many highly qualified estate agents in and arround Marbella, and, as in any other area, there are the more opportunistic and less qualified ones as well. One should try to choose an agency on the recommendation of lawyers or long time residents; the agency should have a good inventory of resale and new properties on its books; and should be open, sincere, communicative, professional and appear genuinely interested in helping you meet your needs rather than just looking for quick business.
